Visa & Passport Information
Passport:
All visitors to the Philippines must hold a passport that is valid
for a minimum of six months beyond intended length of stay required.
Visa: Everyone, except for the stateless persons, nationals from restricted countries and those originating from countries with which the Philippines has no diplomatic relations, with a valid passport and tickets for onward or return journeys can enter Philippines without a formal visa and are permitted to stay for up to 21 days. If you wish to stay longer you must obtain a Visa Extension from Philippine embassies and consulates before your trip or Philippines Immigration Office once you are in the country.
Visas normally allow stays from 21 days to 59 days. Extensions are possible at the discretion of the Bureau of Immigration Office, with additional payment to the Emigration Clearance Certificate and corresponding Legal Research Fee. The Visa extension fee usually ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 Peso depending on whether the application for extension was filed before or after the 21 days limit. If you already have a visa on arrival make sure the immigration officers know this or your passport will still be stamped for just 21 days.
